Our journey to becoming a wedding venue was inspired by this classic barn. Originally built in 1980, it has the vintage Hill Country charm of old wood, aged metal, and red paint that is sure to make all your photos sensational. The Bluebonnet Barn is 20ft wide by 30ft long. The barn is open air with big front doors, a back door, and three windows on one side. It is the perfect size for a dance floor and opens into the reception area. We provide a sound system and auxiliary hookup for you to use at no extra charge.
The reception area is adjacent to the barn and gives you approximately 2000 sq. ft. of space for dinner seating. This space is heavily shaded by the canopy of live oak trees filled with twinkling lights. For the colder months, we include a propane heater plus a wood burning fire-pit great for roasting s’mores.
The Bluebonnet Barn is designed with multiple ceremony spaces. You can choose to wed under the shade of huge oak trees, in a lawn of green grass under the endless Texas sky, or by a field blanketed in Spring wildflowers.
A short distance from the barn is the Bridal Suite that looks out into the Butterfly/Hummingbird Garden. The Bridal Suite is climate controlled with an air conditioner for summer and a heater for the cooler months. It features a full-length mirror, vanity with lights, loveseat, chairs and plenty of space for the bride and all of her party to get ready for the big day.
The barn also has two large grass areas perfect for playing yard games, creating seating areas, or even placing a mechanical bull! The rolling grounds of Bluebonnet Barn are perfect for events with multiple activities or larger guest counts. And of course – when the evening comes, you and your guests will enjoy all of the thousands of sparkling, twinkling lights covering the huge live oaks!
